Many types of coins of Rs 10 are seen in the market. In the
middle of one's case, 10 is written in the middle, then someone has a picture
of the mother sherwali. If there is a picture of Parliament in any coin, then
in any coin, the picture of Dr. Homi Jehangir Bhabha is made. There are some
coins on which the picture of the Father of the Nation is Mahatma Gandhi. All
these coins are absolutely legitimate and real. Let us tell you that all these
types of coins have been issued by the Reserve Bank of India and if you refuse
to take them, there can be a case of treason against you.
The case of treason for refusing to accept currency:
Yes! If you refuse to accept any coin of 10 rupees, then a
case of sedition can be initiated against you. For this, there is a provision
under section 124 (1) of Indian Penal Code i.e. Indian Penal Code. Under this
section, a case of sedition is made when the central bank or the government
refuses to accept the currency issued by it. Because the Government of India
promotes this posture, so to question the authenticity of it is like
questioning the authenticity of the word of the government.
